Obverse Design

Badge consists of three crossed bugles facing downward.
The bugle represents
an old-fashioned megaphone and is a symbol of authority. Fire department
officers at one time used these megaphones to direct fire fighters during a fire.
This badge is in the shape of the three crossed bugles, and as such has no
background and no rim.
