Obverse Design In larger letters than the 1911 pieces, legend reads "CANAL ZONE | GOVERNMENT | HUNTING PERMIT | 1435 | EXPIRES | JUNE 15, 1914" Above the oval hole in small letters: "AMRYS CO NEW YORK".
Reverse Design Punched or engraved on the blank reverse are "R.R. WIGGINS" (employee's name). Second line "CK. 180643" (employee's metal check number). Third line "SURVEYS" (employee department).
Metal Brass Size and Shape Rectangular 44 mm high by 36 mm wide with an oval hole across the top.
