Function
|
Tentatively attributed as tree tags for Goodyear. Goodyear started a rubber tree
plantation in Panama in 1935. According to one source, the plantation was located
on the shores of the Lake Gatun. Information is sketchy, but apparently either
a rubber tree blight or the development of synthetic rubber or both brought
about the end of the project after a few years.
