Obverse Design

The legend "NCO OPEN MESS" curves along the top. The legend "HOWARD" curves
along the bottom of the token. A "Huaca" (pre-columbian design figure sometimes
found in ancient graves in Panama)
appears in the center of the token.

Reverse Design
|
In the bottom center is a small ornament. A legend starts in the center of the
bottom and curves upward around the token. The legend says:
"GOOD . FOR . ONE DOLLAR .
IN . TRADE".
In the center of the token is the denomination of
"100".
There is an ornament above and below the denomination. Under the lower ornament
appear the letters "HH" (the Hoffman & Hoffman mint mark).
