Obverse Design
|
Two lines are written horizontally across the token. The top line says "ARCO"
and the bottom line says "IRIS". "ARCO IRIS" means "RAINBOW" in English.
The letters are indented in the plastic. A letter "P" has been counterstamped
on top of the "ARCO IRIS". It has ragged edges and is indented. It may have been
formed by pressing the token with a hot metal "die."
The rest of the token is smooth and
there is no rim.
|
Reverse Design
|
The reverse has a large "½" centered on the token. This number (fraction) is
indented in the plastic. The rest of the token is smooth and
there is no rim.
