VN-2.221 (Ship, Vernon, Canon over convex shell /with spires on "LO", "W" and "T"), McCormick-Goodhart #125, Betts 198 or 231.
A Very Fine (VF-20) example. Copper washed in gold. Generally light wear, moderate wear at high points. All major features are present and clear. More than 75% of all the fine detail is present. Sharp letters in legends, no corrosion. Appears to have been washed in a gold or gold-colored wash which lingers in the deeply recessed areas. VN-2.221 is a relatively common variety. Size: 37½ mm. Weight: 13.5 grams. Estimate: $75 to $130.
