The legend "COLON" curves along the bottom.
Dividing the top legend from the bottom legend on either side is a five-point star.
In the center are two text lines and an ornament line. The top line says "53",
and has two dots on either side of the "53".
The second line says "FRONT ST.".
The third line has a five-point star in the center with three dots on either side.
The token has a dentured edge, and a smooth raised rim.

The center of the token has a large "50¢". It is enclosed by a circle of beads,
which are far from the edge of the token. The token has a smooth slightly raised
rim.
